Reception Class visit to Westonbirt Arboretum
The Reception class at Rose Hill Westonbirt School had a wonderful day out at Westonbirt Arboretum on 9th October. The sun shone and the children had a great time hunting for different leaves with a given criteria. The children made homes for Mr Bear and his friends using natural materials and observed what changes take place in Autumn.
The Foundation department at Rose Hill Westonbirt School access the "Outdoor Classroom", as part of their everyday curriculum, making full use of the parkland setting of their school together with the nearby Arboretum, enabling the children to explore the natural world around them.
