Outdoor Education Day
On Wednesday 3rd March all the children from Nursery through to Year 2 took part in an Outdoor Education Day. The children enjoyed the morning completing literacy and numeracy lessons using the wonderful environment surrounding our school. Lunch was outdoors too, soup, hot dogs and fruit followed by campfire songs! The afternoon was a rotation of activities allowing the children to experience all the outdoors has to offer as a learning resource and to broaden their perception of learning. Although a bit chilly, the weather remained dry with even hint of Spring sunshine.
