Going Greek!
Last Thursday, Year 5 enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Holburne Museum in Bath for a Greek themed workshop. As part of our study of the Ancient Greeks, the children were greeted by 'Cleo' on the steps of the Holburne who was dressed Greek style.
Immediately the children were transported to another civilisation and their imaginations were further stirred by a morning of clay modelling, sketching of Greek models and a quick tour around some of the Greek exhibits in the museum.
The sight of our pupils walking around the museum in full Greek garb was a sight to behold. A cracking day in beautiful Bath and this should prove an excellent starting point for our Greek journey!
