Pre-Prep Olympic Visit
Last week our pre-prep department enjoyed a very exciting trip to Bath University.
The children spent the day with instructors Leanne, Kayleigh and Kate Grey (a Para-Olympic swimmer ranked 8th in the world!) and were given a fascinating tour of the facilities. On route the children saw the indoor and outdoor athletic tracks (where they were able to watch Great British Mens' 400m Hurdler Dia Green race!) the 50m swimming pool, the sports halls and the training and weight rooms. They even had the chance to take part and raced, jumped and threw as individuals and in teams!
The children were lucky enough to watch a demonstration by the Great British Modern Rhythm Gymnastics team and finished the day off by viewing the Olympic Torch as it passed the university's campus.
The children had a wonderful day and will no doubt remember their experience for a long time!
