Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts 2010
Congratulations to our choir and recorders at the prestigious Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts on Wednesday 5th May. Rose Hill Westonbirt Choir sang against stiff competition from 14 other schools to win a Distinction and some very complimentary comments. They sang confidently with vigour, clarity and dynamism. Our recorder players were amazing, see results below and a special mention for Georgie Johnson-Greening who was outstanding in every class she entered. A very special thank you to Mrs Shirley Jee, our Head of Music, who inspires the children to achieve such wonderful results. Here are the results together with a picture of a proud Mrs Jee with some of the children who tok part so successfully.
