K'nex County Finals
As winners of the Rose Hill Westonbirt K'nex Challenge held before Christmas, Hugo Pollitt and William Gill qualified for the county championship. They attended this event on 28th April. 84 teams from primary schools across Gloucestershire took part. Hugo and William's challenge was to build a 75cm tower for an imaginary Merlin to rescue Morgana and Prince Arthur from a collapsing castle. The instructions specified that the tower had to include an internal lift, doors and ramps. The judges concluded that the RHW team were in the top 4 competitors amongst the 42 schools taking part in the morning session. The final results are eagerly awaited.
