Red Nose Day at Rose Hill Westonbirt
Much like the television show there were moments when we all laughed and times when we could have cried. Creating this fine balance was tricky but Year 6 managed to produce a wonderfully themed 'Do something funny for money' assembly on Friday, March 18th, raising funds for Comic Relief. The pupils performed brilliantly and with two acts having not even rehearsed prior to taking to the stage, the children showed great adaptability and creativity to improvise in the heat of the moment.
Following the assembly, the children sold homemade cakes to friends and family. A big thank you to all parents and pupils who were involved. The day was a huge success and we are pleased to announce that the children's efforts raised an incredible £191.72 for Comic Relief.
Well done everyone!
