Pupils at Rose Hill Westonbirt School took part in the annual K'NEX Challenge on Friday 4th November. The boys and girls, in Year 5 and 6 at Rose Hill Westonbirt, were set a TOP SECRET! brief to design and build a structure with their K'NEX materials.
With a time limit of just one hour, the children worked hard in pairs at producing their constructions.
Great fun was had by all during the challenge, with Jago Harling and Angus Savage as the overall winners for their excellent creation.
Mr Neil Shaw, Headmaster of Rose Hill Westonbirt commented: "The annual K'NEX Challenge is always a highlight of the term for the pupils. Not only is it great fun, the challenge encourages them to develop problem solving and engineering skills, while inspiring their creative side."
Jago and Angus will represent Rose Hill Westonbirt in the final next spring, to be held in Cheltenham. Good luck boys!
