Science works magic for pupils at Rose Hill Westonbirt School.
Rose Hill Westonbirt pupils were left amazed after spending time travelling through the human digestive system on Thursday, February 17th, all thanks to the Explorer Dome.
The dome - a large silver inflatable that resembles a gigantic planet - invites pupils to crawl and spend time inside, learning about science in an innovative, interactive way. Exciting experiments and theatrical displays left the pupils (and teachers!) engaged and thoroughly interested in the topic. With grotesque visuals projected onto the inside of the dome, along with convincing sounds effects and added extras (including substitute mucus, stomach acid and intestines!), the dome allowed Rose Hill Westonbirt pupils to gain an understanding and be suitably disgusted at the happenings inside the human body.
