Junior A Hockey v Grittleton
It was the first game of the season for the junior A hockey team. All the team were excited and ready to play. Rachel Hatherell, Ellie Webster and Millie Porter were strong in attack passing the ball well between them. It was not long before Rachel and Millie had scored. Kate Hollywood and Holly Vernon were quick to stop the ball getting anywhere near our goal, so Isobel Crighton the goal keeper never touched the ball all match. Charlotte Houghton and Lula White both proved to be very fast and ran up and down the wing well, even though the pitch was tough going and up-hill. Overall the team played together and remembered their positions and game tactics. A solid start to the season. Men of the match: Millie Porter and Rachel Hatherell.
