Bath University - Netball Coaching
On 5th February 43 girls from Rose Hill Westonbirt travelled to Bath University to take part in a coaching afternoon with Team Bath netball players who are all coaches and all play at national level. To start off the girls were given a tour of the fantastic facilities that Bath University has to offer including 20 indoor tennis courts and 6 indoor netball courts as well as a most impressive 50m swimming pool. The girls were then split into three groups and enjoyed being taught a variety of different skills including hand eye co ordination games, netball drills, skills and set pieces, rounding off with coaching games at the end. A most valuable and enjoyable experience for all those involved, staff and pupils alike.
