Senior Hockey A Team V Beaudesert
It was a hot, sunny day when the senior A team played Beaudesert. It was 1-0 to us within the first minute as Beaudesert scored an own goal. Emma Hatherell was great at pushing the ball up, with Katie Battishill running into the D to score. We were soon in a very strong, dominant position so Mrs Clifton swapped the team around making sure everyone had the opportunity to play. Christine Loft, Isabella Hagan and Amelia James (all in Year 5) played to a high standard. Louisa Lawrence-Mills was strong in goal, repeatedly clearing the ball away. The final score was 7-2 (Katie 2, Tasha 1, Tildy 4). Man of the match - the whole team.
