Mrs Nicola Cook, Nursery Leader

Life before RHW?
After graduating from university I worked for many years for House of Fraser in London. Working as a Floor Manager, I was involved in the buying and selling of fashion fabrics. After having my two children, the long unsociable hours didn't fit in very well with family life and I realised what a sense of achievement I gained working with young children as a volunteer at my children's nurseries. After moving from London to Gloucestershire I trained as a Nursery Leader and have worked at two different nurseries before starting at Rose Hill Westonbirt nearly ten years ago!
Why Rose Hill Westonbirt?
I loved the welcoming atmosphere of the school, and who wouldn't want to work here with views like these!
And in your spare time?
I enjoy many art and craft activities when I have the time! I love going to the theatre and concerts. My husband and I enjoy gardening and wandering around antique shops and fairs, but don't usually buy very much! I also spend a lot of my time as a taxi service to my two teenage children!
