We have a thriving early years and pre prep department, where children are gently introduced to the joy of learning through playing and working together. They flourish in happy and vibrant surroundings with activities planned around their individual needs.
Small Classes in the Nursery
Rose Hill Westonbirt School’s nursery ‘Rosebuds’ provides a very special learning environment for boys and girls aged 3-4 years.
With small groups, experienced and enthusiastic teachers can concentrate on conveying to children the conviction that learning is fun. Classrooms are bright, lively and well equipped and there is a beautiful garden area with bespoke play equipment including, tricycles, wendy house, sand pit and raised garden beds.
The Early Years and Foundation Stage Curriculum is followed through activities based outdoors as well as in. There are daily music lessons and PE sessions with specialist teachers and computer facilities in the classroom. Children have the opportunity to begin ballet and creative dance lessons and are included in school productions, festivals and charity events such as the Teddy Bear Picnic.
Please note, Nursery Vouchers are accepted at Rosebuds. Depending on your child's date of birth, Nursery Vouchers may also be accepted in Reception Class at Rose Hill Westonbirt School. For more information please call the School Office on 01666 881400.

Full Year-Round Provision
At Rosebuds Nursery we are very proud of our term time educational nursery provision. However, we understand that some families require fuller nursery provision to meet the needs of busy working parents. At Rose Hill Westonbirt we offer a comprehensive Holiday Club provision. Managed and staffed by permanent members of the teaching team, our 3 and 4 year old pupils are able to access the Holiday Club, and have their needs specifically catered for by a regular staff member from the Nursery team who works throughout the holidays.
The Holiday Club provision operates from 8.30am to 5.30pm during school holidays, with only two closed weeks a year (one at Christmas and one at Easter). By combining our full term-time nursery provision with our full Holiday Club programme, 3 and 4 year old pupils can access virtually year round education and childcare in a safe and secure learning environment. As an additional bonus, Holiday Club sessions (from as little as £23.00 per day) can be booked on an ad hoc basis, so you only pay for days you use!
Holiday Club activities include many opportunities to take full advantage of our wonderful outdoor landscape. Every day includes at least two hours outdoor play and exercise, and one hour in the school swimming pool.
