A typical day

The school day begins at 8.20am with registration for all year groups with the option of early arrival from 8.00am.

Nursery finishes at either 12.30pm or 3:30pm

Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 finish at 3.30pm

Children in Years 3 – 8 finish at 4.10pm

All children have the option to stay on until 6.00pm

Extra-curricular activities and clubs normally take place between 3.30 – 5.15pm.

Hot or cold home cooked nutritious food is served at lunchtime with a vegetarian choice and other options for those with special dietary needs.

Lunch menu examples during a typical week:

Pasta Bolognaise, chicken Kiev, fish cakes, mushroom risotto, roast lamb, root vegetable Pie

Rasperrry ripple mousse, fresh fruit salad, chocolate & orange sponge, natural yoghurt honey & fruit.

Tea comprises sandwiches, fruit and a homemade cake.

Children share mealtimes with their friends as well as staff, which helps to cement social skills.
